Following the 7 Virtues of the Geniae

I have posted these virtues on other formats, but I had wanted to share in this space as well. There are seven holy virtues attributed to the Great Geniae, ones that help a soul in her progress in life and dealing with her wyrd.

Here are a brief description of the seven virtues associated with each Genia.

  • Madria Vision
    • The sun and Madria Vision represent Solar Intellect, and the virtue of Illumination. Opening yourself to new experiences, gaining new perspectives, and other ways to illuminate yourself mind and soul are ways to illuminate oneself.
  • Madria Clarity
    • The moon and Madria Clarity represent the gentle reflective light of the Daughter. Reflection as a virtue would be self introspection, reflecting on past actions and choices and how to make better decisions and lessen your wyrd as you move forward. Reflection can also be ruminating on truths, scripture, and more.
  • Madria Valour
    • Mars and Madria Valour represent the virtue of Courage. This will mean different things to each person, and can mean tackling things you may be wary of, dismantling your ego, or simply taking things one day at a time. What is courageous is between you and Déa.
  • Madria Wisdom
    • Mercury and Madria Wisdom represent the virtue of Wisdom. Studying, practicing your knowledge, and contemplating the knowledge you've gained and how to practically apply it to create true wisdom. Experience will become an aspect of wisdom for you.
  • Madria Grace
    • Venus and Madria Grace represent the virtue of Compassion, the path of love and mercy. Being gentle with yourself, giving of your love to others, treating the world with kindness. Working to donate your time and energy to bring more love and compassion to the world may be a great way to develop this virtue.
  • Madria Justice
    • Jupiter and Madria Justice represent the virtue of Equity. She is the aspect of Divine Harmony, and as such working towards equity for the world and yourself leads us all to a more harmonic life. For yourself, this may be working on your composure, introspection of how you act in the world, and for the world/outwardly it could be getting involved in a social justice campaign.
  • Madria Temperance
    • Saturn and Madria Temperance represent the virtue of Temperance. One should be mindful of self restraint in life, and this can possibly further mean renunciation of habits or aspects that no longer serve your higher good. This also can mean honing your skill of moderation.
